Piece in seven parts


Piece in seven parts is a choreography that uses the photo by Philippe Halsman (Dali Skull) and its reconstitution by Giasco Bertoli.

The image becomes the score of a performance which consists in arranging the dancers' bodies in order to incessantly construct and deconstruct the figure of the skull. The performance considers the context where it takes place and makes use of it as a scenography.
