Absence is superimposed freely on the contents of an
exhibition or a programmed performance, using the random distribution of labels
about the piece near the entrance of the place where the event is happening.
For its
première, Absence is presented in the frame of the exhibition The Escort proposed by the CAC Brétigny. It is superimposed on
the exhibition Danser sa vie, Dance et Arts Visuels au 20è et 21è siècles,
which takes place at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, from November 23, 2011 to
April 2, 2012.
The label
of the piece is randomly distributed around the Centre Pompidou by a street
marketing employee during the period of the exhibition.
